More than 200 friends and neighbors gathered at the fire hall for Doe Bay's 44th Annual Independence Day Celebration. Our thanks to everyone who came - and to everyone who helped. And special thanks to everyone who played in the band.
Fire Chief Mik Preysz helped us dedicate the monitor from Station 27's old fire truck in memory of Rick Anda and in recognition of all who have served our community.
Chris Sutton was honored as 2015 Patriot of the Year for spearheading Doe Bay's own wireless Internet service.
And special thanks to the Durand Family auctioneers and to all of you who contributed to our live and silent auctions. More than $3,000 was raised to cover expenses for another year.
Please save these dates. A party just isn’t a party without you!
